About me

Hello there! I’m Amy. Thanks for taking the time to visit my blog.

While I love a good chat I enjoy listening, reading and writing more. Selfishly then, writing is an outlet for the thoughts that reside mostly in my head. And less selfishly, it’s my hope that what I write could be of some help or interest to you.

For the past decade or so my day job has been supporting people bring about the change they want to see – in teams, organisations and communities. At the moment I’m Change and Planning Manager at Bath Spa University,  and was previously Head of Behaviour Change at The Campaign Company.

My writing focuses on what I know about change and where I see it’s needed, particularly in relation to things that often go unseen or unspoken – norms, beliefs, emotions; invisible things that hold us back, together, or lead us to fall apart.

“Words have the power to both destroy and heal. When words are both true and kind, they can change our world.”

the source of this quote is debated but I think the sentiment is spot on

Sending love to you from my keyboard here in Bristol, UK.
